Did you see today’s Google Doodle celebrating Mies van der Rohe?
Google isn’t the only one celebrating the master architect — on his birthday, we republished photographs from a 1957 photo essay titled “Emergence of a Master Architect.” The feature that ran in the March 1, 1957 issue of LIFE, at the same time that the architect’s signature achievement — the 38-story Seagram Building on Park Avenue in New York — was nearing completion.

Not only a week ago..
I have completed my Concept Development class and have no intention of deleting this blog.
Hello again, my dear readers. I know I have been absent for the past week or so but in life you never know what might stray you from your responsibilities. I consider this blog an ever growing responsibility.
I have faced finals and a close friends death in the past week and now it is time for Spring break. It is Tuesday and I come to you now ready to face a birthday soon. I feel as though I am facing all these things at once. I will attempt not to make this a personal journal but undoubtedly we designers always put a little bit of ourselves in our work am I right?
So now I shall continue, I will post my video link on here to see what feedback I receive I hope you all like it. I think my choice of images and song was well thought out.
Today I shall receive the grade for this class and I can only hope that I would have successfully passed it. I worked my ass off and I don’t regret it. It was a love/hate relationship in the end and it was worth all my time.
By noon I should have my grade posted.
